WATCH LIVE: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Holds Rare Press Briefing Amid Kavanaugh Firestorm

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold a briefing today to discuss President Donald Trump’s latest plans and administrative agenda. The briefing is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET.

There’s bound to be a flurry of activity with today’s briefing, seeing as they’ve become so rare. This will be Sanders’ first formal press event since Sept. 10, and just her second since late August.

The briefing will undoubtedly focus on Brett Kavanaugh and the ongoing controversy from the sexual misconduct allegations against him. Trump has generated plenty of controversy for himself throughout this news cycle, not only by complaining about how misconduct allegations make it a “scary” and “difficult” time to be a man in America, but he also because he mocked Kavanaugh accuser Christine Ford during a rally last night.

There’s also a high probability that Sanders will face questions about the major new profile about Trump’s legally-questionable tax schemes throughout the years. New York Times poured through a huge collection of tax and financial documents, and their review suggests Trump committed tax evasion and “outright fraud” to greatly increase the amount of money he inherited from his father’s business empire.
