WATCH LIVE: White House Press Briefing With Sarah Huckabee Sanders

In the midst of an absolutely insane news cycle for the Trump administration, White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold the daily White House press briefing today. The presser is scheduled to start at 2:30 PM ET.

There are just a whole bunch of topics that Sanders is expected to field questions on. Just within the last 48 hours, the White House has been roiled by news surrounding senior advisor (and presidential son-in-law) Jared Kushner, as he’s lost his top secret security clearance and news has come out that foreign officials have looked to manipulate him. Beyond that, another bombshell report hit that alleged Kushner’s businesses have received roughly a half billion dollars in loans from people Kushner held meetings with at the White House.

Of course, one of the biggest stories impacting this administration involves now-former White House communications director Hope Hicks, who shocked the political media world with the announcement that she was resigning. The resignation came out as it was reported that Trump berated Hicks for telling the House Intelligence Committee that she told “white lies” on the president’s behalf.

On top of all that, the president created even more news when he announced earlier today that he would be imposing large tariffs on steel and aluminum imports, creating immediate anxiety that the United States could be entering into a trade war.
