White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders will hold a briefing today to discuss the administration’s latest plans and administrative agenda. The briefing is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. EST.
There’s a good chance that today’s briefing will involve a new round of questions about Stormy Daniels‘ lawsuit against President Donald Trump and his lawyer, Michael Cohen. Deputy press secretary Raj Shah deflected a lot of questions on thew subject yesterday, though Daniels’ allegations are still making waves in political media circles — especially since the porn star is suing Cohen for defamation.
Another potential topic? The New York Times report that Trump wants Rob Porter to come back to the White House. The Times report stated that Trump continues to seek advice from the former White House aide, and hopes he makes a return in the future. Porter left the West Wing last month in light of the news that his two ex-wives and another women accused him of physical and emotional abuse.
Other subjects that reporters might ask about today include; the ongoing gun control debate, Trump’s expulsion of Russian diplomats from the U.S., and the president’s conversations with the leaders of France and Germany.
