WATCH: Michael Avenatti Hints Cohen Raid May Reveal Identity of Man Who Allegedly Threatened Stormy
Stormy Daniels’ attorney Michael Avenatti suggested the identity of a man who she claims threatened her and demanded silence after the porn star’s alleged affair with Donald Trump may have come to light after the FBI raids on the president’s personal lawyer.
Avenatti, who made the comments while appearing on CNN, alluded to “a lot of information” that “has come to light” and noted that the sketch of the suspect may not need to be released following the three raids on longtime Trump lawyer Michael Cohen.
“We haven’t released [the sketch] because we were asked to not release it,” began Avenatti, before getting coy: “A lot has happened in the last 48 hours. We may not end up having to release that sketch. That’s what I’ll say.”
Host Alisyn Camerota then asked if the person who allegedly “intimidated her” will be “apprehended,” to which Daniels’ lawyer replied:
“A lot has happened in the last 48 hours. There were three raids conducted. A lot of information has come to light. We may ultimately not need to release that sketch as it relates to identifying the individual who threatened her in Las Vegas. That’s all I’m at liberty to say… There’s been a lot of developments. We are cooperating with law enforcement on multiple fronts. We’re going to be respectful of that process and we’re going to do what is best as it relates to identifying this individual, being diligent about it, and being smart about it.”
