WATCH: Outnumbered Goes Off the Rails After Host Declares Democrats ‘Unpatriotic’
Things got intense for Fox News’ Outnumbered on Thursday when the panel held a discussion on Andrew Cuomo, and his remark that America “was never that great.”
President Donald Trump took a shot at Cuomo after the New York governor botched an attempt to turn the president’s “Make America Great Again” slogan against him. Former Trump press secretary Sean Spicer, today’s #OneLuckyGuy, kicked off the Outnumbered discussion on the topic by blasting the remark as a “deplorable comment” from Cuomo that undermines American ideals.
The conversation continued with Harris Faulkner‘s referral to a scathing rebuke of Cuomo that she posted on Twitter.
Tell that to every single active duty American service member; every military veteran of every war we have fought; every loving family member of every soldier, marine, guard, sailor, airman/woman who has died serving this nation. Then, tell them how sorry you are. #andrewcuomo https://t.co/YPstmcxsi2

Marie Harf chimed in next — saying Cuomo’s comments “didn’t come out right” and were probably supposed to be an allusion to enduring national problems, or Trump’s past remarks about “American carnage.” This prompted Katie Pavlich to go on a spiel about how Cuomo doesn’t get the benefit of the doubt because Democrats have a “track record of being unpatriotic.”
“Andrew Cuomo didn’t flub anything,” Pavlich said. “This is the pattern of Democrats over the past 10 years.”
The debate grew increasingly hot as Harf took offense to her colleagues’ accusations that former president Barack Obama and Democrats as a whole are unpatriotic. Pavlich interjected multiple times, which caused Harf at one point to exclaim “Let me finish!”
