President Trump will be in Mount Pleasant, WI today, where he will speak at the ceremonial opening of a new $10 billion Foxconn electronics factory complex.
I am in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, for meetings. Soon to leave for a big groundbreaking for Foxconn, which is building a great new electronics plant in Wisconsin. 15,000 Jobs, so great!

Trump is likely to use this event to tout the economic rejuvenation effects of his “America First” business, trade and infrastructure policies. There’s also a good chance Trump could offer his support for Scott Walker‘s re-election bid since the governor set up the Foxconn facility in tandem with the White House.
Since Trump likes to use his speeches to go after his political enemies, it’s possible that he’ll use this event to attack Harley-Davidson over their decision to move their manufacturing operation out of the country. The Milwaukee-based motorcycle company said their decision was based on Trump’s brewing trade war with the European Union, though the president is calling that an “excuse” and suggesting they’ll be taxed out of existence if they proceed.
