Wednesday Cable Ratings: O’Reilly Hits Highest Demo Rating in 2 Months

With its post-State of the Union coverage Wednesday night, Fox News’ The O’Reilly Factor had its highest ratings in the 25-54 demo in two months. Bill O’Reilly averaged 681K in the demo at 8 p.m. His previous high of 817K came on November 24 of last year with the Ferguson grand jury verdict.


While it did not originally appear that the Dish Network blackout had an effect on Fox News’ ratings, the return of the network to that satellite cable’s viewers this week could potentially be a factor in Fox’s increased numbers.
