After Wolf Blitzer spoke with Hillary Clinton about the horrible shootings this week, he also confronted her about the FBI’s conclusion that she was reckless and careless in dealing with classified material.
When Blitzer pressed her on that, she pointed to James Comey‘s testimony where he “clarified that comment to some extent” and insisting that absolutely nothing she sent or received was marked classified––and the two that were was erroneous in nature.
Blitzer bluntly asked, “Should you have known better?”
Clinton insisted that she was communicating with professionals who understood the system well, saying that while people may think certain of those emails should have been classified, “they were not at the time.”
Blitzer also asked Clinton if she would cooperate with the State Department, which has reopened its investigation. She avoided saying so directly, but indicated she was fully cooperative with the DOJ’s investigation.
