Wolf Blitzer Thinks Relations With Russia Were ‘Rosy’ a Few Months Ago
The current tension between the United States and Russia has reached a fever pitch, but it’s not as if everything was all fine and dandy before the crisis in Ukraine. However, Wolf Blitzer mused on CNN today that relations between the two nations seemed “rosy” mere months ago before everything went to pot.
U.S. Army paratroopers are conducting training exercises in Poland amid a growing war of words between the U.S. and Russia, and Jim Sciutto reported that the U.S. is planning plenty of non-lethal aid to Ukraine’s military, including intelligence-sharing, even as some members of Congress don’t think it goes far enough.
Blitzer remarked, “When you think about it, only a few months ago, U.S.-Russian relations seemed to be pretty rosy and all of a sudden it’s back to the bad old days of the Cold War.”
