‘Yo Mama, To Me, Is Ghetto Talk’: Crystal Wright Slams Clinton’s Pandering to Black Voters
Mediaite columnist Crystal Wright appeared on Fox & Friends this morning to discuss the recent revelations in the Podesta WikiLeaks email dumps that showed the Clinton campaign wondering if Hillary Clinton should tell a “Yo mama” joke at a black college.
Speaking to host Tucker Carlson, the Con Job author stated that it just shows that Democrats are always pandering to the “lowest common denominator.” She then said that this doesn’t represent voter outreach or shows that they really want to know what African-Americans think.
“Yo mama, to me , is ghetto talk,” Wright told Carlson. “It’s not black outreach, it’s not saying ‘Hey, I want to earn the black vote,’ right?”
Carlson followed up by saying that Clinton feels compelled to meet with Black Lives Matter activists because she needs to win the black vote. Wright responded by noting that Donald Trump was right in labeling Hillary as “two-faced” and that she’ll say whatever it takes to get elected.
Later on in the interview, Carlson and Wright agreed that the black voter turnout this election won’t even come close to approaching the numbers in 2008 and ’12 when Barack Obama was on the ballot.
