Former Playmate Karen McDougal on Trump Affair: ‘He Tried to Pay Me’ For Sex
In an interview with CNN‘s Anderson Cooper, ex-Playmate Karen McDougal detailed her time with President Donald Trump, during which she claims he attempted to pay her for sex.
McDougal has been in the media spotlight since Tuesday when she filed a lawsuit against American Media, Inc. to break free from a $150,000 non-disclosure agreement on her relationship with the president.
During her tell-all with Cooper, McDougal said “after we had been intimate, he tried to pay me, and I actually did not take that.”
McDougal recalled the encounter, saying Trump actually attempted to hand her money. In response, she was shocked.
“I just had this look, I just, I don’t even know how to describe the look on my face, it must have been so sad, because I never have been offered money like that, number one, and number two, does he think I’m in this for money, and that’s why I’m here tonight? Or is this a normal thing? I don’t know. But I looked at him and said, ‘That’s not me. I’m not that kind of girl.’ And he looked at me and said, ‘Oh,’ and he said, ‘You’re really special.’ And I said, ‘Thank you.’ So I left, and I got into the car, Keith’s taking me home, and started crying. I was really sad.”
Despite feeling pained by the encounter with Trump, McDougal admitted she saw him again.
“It really hurt me, but I went back,” she recalled, explaining that it “hurt me that he saw me in that light and he obviously assumed that’s the kind of girl I was, maybe because I was a playmate, I don’t know.”
“I was crying in the backseat of the car like I said, I got home and I was crying a lot. I felt terrible about myself.”
McDougal is the second woman to sue to get out of her non-disclosure agreement on relations with the president. Adult film star Stormy Daniels recently engaged in a legal battle of her own, saying she has also had an affair with Trump.
