Trump Threatens Democrats With Investigations: ‘Two Can Play That Game!’

It’s the morning after the midterm elections, and President Donald Trump has investigations on the mind.

With Democrats taking the House, investigations and subpoenas are expected to rain down on the White House. That’s been a common theme on Fox & Friends, the president’s favorite morning show, throughout Wednesday morning.

In response, Trump has threatened to investigate Democrats “for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level.”

“Two can play that game!” Trump tweeted.

If the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money investigating us at the House level, then we will likewise be forced to consider investigating them for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level. Two can play that game!

It’s not clear, however, Trump has much of a basis for his allegations — nor much power to do anything about them.

Trump is expected to deliver a news conference at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday morning on the midterm election results:
