On Friday night, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski joined CNN’s Chris Cuomo for a one-on-one that quickly went off the rails.

At one point, the conversation turned to collusion.

“The only collusion that took place was between the Hillary Clinton campaign, Fusion GPS and Nellie Ohr,” Lewandowski insisted, despite Cuomo calling his claims of no collusion, “poppycock.”

Then, things took a turn after Cuomo called Lewandowski’s claims “oppo research.”

“Chris, you’ve never been on a campaign where you’ve gone to a foreign country to do Oppo research,” Lewandowski snapped.

Cuomo replied that of course he hasn’t because he is a journalist before the conversation took a heated turn to classified documents.

“Let’s get the president to declassify the 302s that Bruce Ohr gave to the FBI about his wife’s relationship with fusion GPS,” Lewandowski said, prompting Cuomo to agree.

“I want everything declassified. I’m a journalist,” Cuomo said. “I want the president’s taxes…”

“YES!” Lewandowski replied as things got even hotter.

“Did you say yes to the taxes?” Cuomo asked.

Lewandowski then said Trump’s taxes were not classified and Trump was not required to release them.

“Since when is the standard of the right thing to do what’s legal or illegal or what’s

demanded or not demanded?” Cuomo shot back. “Do the right thing. If you’re so transparent, put it out. It’s such an ugly hypocrisy that he can just wave away.”

Lewandowski argued the taxes would show is that Trump is a rich man and he’d concede it was true, prompting yet another round of fierce debate before Cuomo brought the bonkers interview to a close.
