Jailed Murder Suspect Puts on Employee’s Uniform, Charlie Chaplins His Way to Freedom
A deadly murder suspect in Vicksburg, Mississippi just pulled the dumbest (but perhaps the smartest) escape plot simply by putting on an employee’s uniform and walking out the front door.
All this from a man who law enforcement is today describing as “capable of killing, holding someone hostage and kidnapping.” OK then, Mississippi!
The man — 34-year-old Rafael Arnez McCloud — escaped from Warren County Jail yesterday after holding a night shift jail employee hostage and demanding his clothes. Investigator Mike Traxler told the media that McCloud, “forced [the employee] to give up his pants and his jacket. He released the employee and fled the building on foot wearing the uniform.”
The brief list of crimes that McCloud — the man who casually waltzed out of prison after putting on the clothes of an employee — is charged with include, according to Fox 8-Vicksburg, “capital murder, sexual battery, rape, arson, home invasion, weapon possession by a felon, grand larceny auto theft and burglary.” Nothing to see here, folks.
This horrifically dangerous man was arrested in connection with the murder of a 69-year-old woman last summer, and in case we didn’t mention, escaped prison yesterday by PUTTING ON THE CLOTHES OF AN EMPLOYEE AND WALKING OUT THE DOOR. Check out the above video from Fox 8-Vicksburg.
