The man accused of shooting two Minnesota lawmakers — one fatally — over the weekend has been seen in a bizarre video preaching to a congregation in the Congo four years ago.

The video, shot in 2021, shows Vance Boelter dancing around on stage to celebrate what “Jesus did for me.”

“And I’m just as excited about Jesus right now, and when I get excited, I want to dance! What Jesus did for me! Ho ho! Jesus! Almighty God!”

Friends told the Associated Press that Boelter is extremely religious and conservative.

Authorities say Boelter, who was arrested Sunday, is the man who disguised himself as a cop before fatally shooting Democratic State Rep. Melissa Hortman, the former Speaker of the Minnesota House, and her husband, Mark Hortman, early Saturday morning at their home in Brooklyn Park.

The suspect also entered the home of State Sen. John Hoffman, and his wife, Yvette Hoffman, who were also shot and wounded.

Police said Boelter visited the homes of two other Democrats the same night– but found one home empty and left the second before entering, after encountering police presence.

Boelter is now facing a slew of charges, including two counts of second-degree murder and two counts of second-degree attempted murder in the state of Minnesota.

In addition, he’s been slapped with stalking and firearms charges at the federal level.
