White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s behind-the-scenes TikTok tour turned unexpectedly star-studded — and politically awkward — with a surprise cameo from a White Lotus actor, a vocal critic of President Donald Trump.
The clip, shared by influencer Kate Mackz on TikTok, was meant to showcase Leavitt’s office, the press briefing room, and her baby’s inaugural ride on Air Force One, but it took a sharp detour when Mackz’s camera panned across the White House lawn — and landed on Jason Isaacs.
“Hi guys, look who we ran into,” Mackz says in the video, before inviting Isaacs onto her running-themed show.
“Sure, I’m in,” the actor replies with a grin, before joking: “Wait, running and talking at the same time?”

Isaacs previously torched Trump as a “scumbag.” Isaacs’ interview with MSNBC’s Morning Joe in February went viral after he compared Trump to the “wealthy and self-centred” businessman he portrays in The White Lotus.
In a lengthy takedown the actor blasted Trump’s federal cuts to the U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID): “How do you take money away from the entire world, killing millions of people, taking
Laying into the president, he added: “That was not part of his mandate. I watched in horror most of the campaigning, and he never mentioned any of that stuff.”
