Saudi Arabian F-15 fighter jets flanked Air Force One in an aerial escort Tuesday as President Donald Trump arrived in Riyadh, kicking off his first major overseas trip since returning to the White House.

Videos posted by Trump’s special assistant Margo Martin and White House Deputy Chief of Staff Dan Scavino on X show the presidential aircraft flanked by five jets – two on the left wing, three on the right.

Trump’s arrival was also a show of ceremonial grandeur. After landing at King Khalid International Airport, he was greeted by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman on a royal purple carpet. The two exchanged pleasantries over a traditional coffee ceremony before heading to the Saudi Royal Court.

A further official welcome ceremony was extended when Trump arrived at the Saudi Royal Court ahead of meetings with top Saudi and American officials.

The high-level U.S. delegation traveling with the president includes Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick, and Energy Secretary Chris Wright.
