NASCAR fans at Alabama’s Talladega Superspeedway chanted “F*ck Joe Biden” as race winner Brandon Brown gave an interview to NBC Sports.
“Oh my God, this is just everything we’ve hoped and dreamed for,” Brown said. “Everything I’ve ever wanted to do is take the trophy home to mom and dad.”
As Brandon thanked his partners and sponsors, the crowd in the background became louder.
“F*ck Joe Biden,” the crowd chanted.
The reporter addressed the background noise, thinking that the crowd was praising Brown’s win.
“As you can hear the chants from the crowd, ‘Let’s go Brandon!'” the reporter said.
The anti-Biden chant has recently made appearances at several sports games — mainly college football.
According to Newsweek, the chant was heard at the Coastal Carolina-University of Kansas game on Sept. 10, the Alabama State-Auburn game on Sept. 11, the Ole Miss-Austin Peay State game on Sept. 11, as well as at a Virginia Tech game.
