Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce told President Joe Biden he’d be tased if he spoke at the team’s championship visit to the White House.
The back-to-back Super Bowl champions had their visit Friday afternoon. As Biden gave his remarks, he joked that the outspoken Kelce was too much of a risk to have at the podium.
“I’d have Travis up here, but God only knows what he’ll say,” Biden said. “Travis, come here! It’s all yours pal.”
Kelce made sure to keep his speech brief, as he claimed his well-being was at risk just being up there with the president.
“My fellow Americans,” Kelce said, “it’s nice to see you all yet again. I’m not gonna lie, President Biden, they told me if I came up here, I’d get tased; so I’m gonna go back to my spot, alright?”
The two then shared a laugh and shook hands.

Biden also used the visit to hint at his own desires to win back-to-back as the Chiefs have.
