On Thursday, an MSNBC panel took on the idea that there are no metrics by which the ACA can measure success. Washington Post reporter Nia-Malika Henderson said that it was “ridiculous” to claim that there were no figures by which the public can assess whether the ACA is financially sound.
“They need a ton more signups,” Henderson said of the White House’s goals for ACA enrollment. “You see the White House ready to pivot and start doing, sort of, more sort of personal stories about people who have signed up and people who have met with some success.”
“And again, the CBO is like the North
“And there is a magic number here,” Henderson agreed. “This idea of if there’s no magic number and there’s no, sort of, math to this is sort of – is sort of ridiculous.”
