The View co-host Ana Navarro was quick to point out that Bad Bunny is no stranger to the Super Bowl halftime show, days after news of the Puerto Rican performer’s participation at the big game riled many on the right.

Navarro, who was born in Nicaragua and emigrated to the U.S. in 1980, said there’s no doubt that the Latino community is taking a “victory lap” over Bad Bunny’s selection, especially given the current climate of ICE raids and deportations across America.

Calling out “racist snowflakes,” Navarro added that no one seemed upset when the artist graced the NFL stage before.

“He was a guest artist with Shakira in 2020 and you know what? None of your heads exploded, so it’s OK,” she said.

Read Navarro’s full remarks below:

Look, there is no doubt that the Latino community is taking a victory lap on this, because, listen, you know, at a time when you see Latino immigrants being racially profiled, when you see immigrants being hunted down like animals, when it’s been a really hard nine months for the Latino community, most of us, many of us, to hear that Bad Bunny is going to be in that huge stage representing makes us — gives us something to be happy about and to celebrate. And you know what, the more mad they are, the more gleeful I am. So the

fact that the racist snowflakes are having a meltdown that Bad Bunny is going to be there. I have news for them: Bad Bunny was already in the Super Bowl halftime. He was a guest artist with Shakira in 2020 and you know what? None of your heads exploded, so it’s OK. You’re gonna to be fine. Somebody… that’s another racist hand to hold.

MAGA Republicans have been up in arms since the announcement that Bad Bunny would be the halftime headliner.

The rapper, who performs in Spanish, has vowed not to tour in the U.S. because he fears ICE will target his fans.

Navarro’s rant came two days after Corey Lewandowski appeared on The Benny Show, where host Benny Johnson asked whether ICE will be present at the game at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Specifically, Johnson asked whether Bad Bunny’s appearance as the halftime performer would prompt ICE to “have enforcement” at the Super Bowl.

“Will ICE have enforcement at the Super Bowl for the Bad Bunny Super Bowl

halftime show?” Johnson asked Lewandowski.

“Benny, there is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally, not the Super Bowl and nowhere else,” Lewandowski responded. “We will find you. We’ll apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility. And we will deport you. So, know that that is a very real situation under this administration, which is completely contrary to how it used to be.”

Lewandowski went on to say that “the NFL has been so woke for so many years.”
