As news broke Thursday night that New York City Dr. Craig Spencer tested positive for Ebola, Fox News was the highest-rated cable news network, beating CNN and MSNBC combined in both the 25-54 demo and total viewers. The Kelly File at 9 p.m. had 468K viewers in the demo and 2.312M total viewers compared to 249K in the demo and 647K total for CNN and 83K in the demo and 546K total for MSNBC’s breaking coverage.
