This is what happens when Ann Coulter tries to mock hashtag activism on Twitter. On Sunday night, Coulter decided to take what appears to be a shot at First Lady Michelle Obama by posting an photo of herself holding a sign with the hashtag #BringBackOurCountry (instead of #BringBackOurGirls, which the first lady recently posted in support of the kidnapped schoolgirls in Nigeria).

So far, whatever point Coulter was trying to make appears to have backfired spectacularly. Moments later, a user named @MestizaMetaphor, who seems to no longer exist, posted a version of Coulter’s photo in which the conservative pundit is holding a blank sheet of paper, telling Twitter, “Have fun kiddos.” And that’s what they did.

Below are some of the most outrageous Photoshopped versions of Coulter’s tweet. Enjoy:

What did we learn? Ann Coulter’s ability to inspire hate remains utterly unmatched.
