George Santos was on hand with Mediaite founder Dan Abrams on NewsNation on Tuesday evening to offer his insight and predictions into the New York special election race to replace him.

The former New York congressman, who was expelled from Congress in December, predicted a victory by Mazi Pilip, the Republican Party nominee and a Nassau County Legislator, though he mostly brushed off the differences between Pilip and her Democratic opponent, Tom Suozzi.

“I’ll tell you this, whichever way you look at it, a Democrat’s replacing me. They’re both registered Democrats. That’s a very good point that people have been raising,” Santos told Abrams.

The ousted congressman has brought up the point himself, refusing to endorse Pilip in the race, citing her being a registered Democrat. He insisted on Tuesday that his expulsion did not have an effect on the race.

At 9:05 PM, minutes after the polls closed, Santos predicted a Suozzi loss early on after results rolled in from Nassau County, where Santos called the turnout “anemic.”

“The problem is to see where the Democrats are turning out? If they’re turning out in Great Neck, if they’re turning out in places like Jericho, these are what I called disenfranchised, self-radicalized Democrats who were voting Republican for the last two election cycles, so if that’s where the bulk of the Democratic turnout is, Suozzi’s underwater. He&

#8217;s in trouble,” he said.

As Pilip trailed Suozzi in Queens, Santos predicted more of a nail-biter race.

The Republican said he had “mixed feelings” about which side should come out on top.

“I don’t want Suozzi to win because Suozzi did vote for a lot of the policies and voted with Joe Biden on the issues that we’re facing as New Yorkers today. On the flip head, you’re right, I kind of want to stick it to the people who took me out, but the reality is, they spent $20 million in a feudal desire to oust me and now look, all that money could have solved the homelessness issue in New York alone,” he said.

Since Suozzi’s victory, Santos has dug into Republicans who supported Pilip and blasted the money lost in the race.

Later in a call-in segment, a caller from Nebraska raved to Santos about how much he loved the ousted congressman, to which Abrams quipped “is that one of your Jewish cousins?” to which Santos laughed.

Santos is currently facing fraud and other charges, and he’s been spending time and bringing in big dollars for Cameo videos. One recent suggestion Santos made about his future was being the head of U.S. Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE). Santos told Abrams on Tuesday he hasn’t spoken to any officials connected to Donald Trump about

the potential gig in a future administration, but he’s serious about taking on the role.

“You need to shoot for the stars,” he said.
