WWE Hall of Famer Kane – who also serves as the mayor of Knox County, Tennessee under his real name Glenn Jacobs – stood by former President Donald Trump on Thursday after he was found guilty by a jury of 34 counts of falsifying business records.
Reacting on social media to the New York jury’s guilty verdict, Jacobs wrote, “Don’t care. Still voting for @realDonaldTrump. #Trump2024,” attached to a photo of him standing next to the 45th president.
“Tonight, the political class will be patting each other on the back and offering toasts at their cocktail parties. On November 5th, they’ll be shaking their heads wondering what happened,” he wrote in a series of other posts criticizing the jury’s decision. “Team Lawfare just galvanized millions of Americans. This sham trial will turn out to be the biggest political miscalculation in history.”
In another post, Jacobs added, “And people say pro wrestling is fixed.”
