Kathy Griffin Insists She’s ‘Not Being Paranoid’ in Sharing Her Fear Trump Will Take Out Comedians Like Her ‘One By One’

Kathy Griffin believes she and other comedians are on a list by former President Donald Trump, and he will pick them off “one by one” if he gets a second term in the White House.

“He’s going to pick us off, one by one, like bowling pins, and I’m not kidding, and I’m not being paranoid,” Griffin told Entertainment Weekly.

Griffin is currently on what she’s calling the My Life on the PTSD-List tour, which is centered around what Griffin describes as trauma stemming from backlash to an infamous 2017 photo where she posed with what was meant to look like a bloodied Trump head. Griffin lost several gigs after the photo went viral and she faced an investigation. The comedian claimed she was nearly arrested for conspiracy to assassinate the then-president.

Griffin said she won’t be very high on Trump’s list because she’s not as big of a celebrity as other vocal critics of Trump. She named Jon Stewart, Jimmy Kimmel

, and Rosie O’Donnell as potential targets to be “picked off.”

“If he gets re-elected, he’ll go after Jimmy Kimmel, he’ll go after Jon Stewart, all the name ones, but he’ll go after Rosie O’Donnell. That’s all he’s going to do all day,” she predicts. “He’ll have press conferences about it. He’s so much crazier than he was the first go-round,” she said.

Trump, according to Griffin, has no interest in “president-ing.”

“I’ve known this guy for 25 years, maybe 30. He’s so petty that he lives for this,” she said. “He doesn’t want to be President or do any president-ing.”
