The reason for President Donald Trump’s surprise announcement has been revealed — and it has nothing to do with his health.

Late last night, it was announced that Trump would hold a 2 p.m. presser from the White House Tuesday to make “a special announcement.”

It left many to speculate that it had something to do with the president’s health after days of rumors that spread through social media like wildfire.

But earlier Tuesday, it was revealed by Reuters that Trump will be announcing the move of the U.S. Space Command’s headquarters from Colorado Springs, CO, to Huntsville, AL.

“The decision would reverse a move made under President Joe Biden’s administration, which had selected Colorado Springs as the permanent home for the military’s newest combatant command in 2023,” Reuters’ White House correspondent Nandita Bose posted on X.

The report follows days of speculation about Trump’s health over the Labor Day weekend during which the president had no public events scheduled. That, combined with

the hand-bruising and swollen ankles — and social media was in an absolute frenzy.
