President Donald Trump pulled out all the stops to get his “Big, Beautiful” bill over the line in the House — and that included passing out some autographed swag.

According to a New York Times report from Shawn McCreesh and Tyler Pager, the president passed out a few mementos to fence-sitting members of the House in an effort to get them on board with his signature legislation.

“They walked out with signed merchandise, photos in the Oval Office and, by some accounts, a newfound appreciation for the bill — targets all of a blunt-force charm offensive waged with precision by the president,” McCreesh and Pager wrote.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-TN) posted a video on X after meeting with the president Wednesday, and colleague Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) prompted him to talk about what he’d copped inside the West Wing.

“”Did you show them what he signed for you?” Donalds asked Burchett.

“Yeah, he signed a bunch of stuff,” Burchett replied. “It’s cool.”

Burchett clarified for the Times that he’d been given a signed placard on which his name had been misspelled. Burchett also told the Times that the son of Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) walked away with some merch.

In addition to souvenirs, the president also broke out some flattery to help win over the skeptics. Burchett said in his video that Trump “told me he liked seeing me on TV,

which is kind of cool.”
