Fox & Friends co-hosts were openly angered by Democrats insulting President Donald Trump as ‘TACO,” which stands for Trump Always Chickens Out.
“Democrats are really off-kilter,” said Rachel Campos-Duffy as she introduced the segment, saying that her political foes are so bereft of ideas to attack President Trump that “they’ve come up with this really cringy response, which is ‘TACO,” OK?”
“No, first of all, when you have to explain it, which I’m like gonna have to do right now, it’s probably a sign. It’s not the best campaign for them,” she added before introducing an objectively cringey soclia media video of Rep. Eric Swalwell eating a taco, designed to mock Trump.
“So if you’re negotiating and creating deals, they’re trying to present it as chickening out,” Campos-Duffy said, defended Trump from the social media video, which, judging by the response it elicited on Trump’s favorite cable news morning shows, appears to have been wildly effective.
“The Wall Street Journal started it, actually,” shot back Brian Kilmeade, in a tone familiar to any parent of young children.”The Wall Street Journal was at war with the president when it comes to tariffs.”

This segment is just one more of thousands of Fox News opinion show segments designed to defend and promote President Trump. However, the WSJ, which is an influential and respected media outlet in its own right, seems more eager to criticize Trump. Rupert Murdoch owns both outlets.
