Conservative radio host Mark Levin is tired of baseless accusations being hurled at himself and at Sarah Palin, and is now putting some money up in a challenge specifically to MSNBC host Chris Matthews.

Levin said on his radio show, “I challenge Chris Matthews, I’ll put $100,000 on the table, to find any example where Sarah Palin has promoted the murder of anybody.” And the same offer exists if Matthews can find an example where Levin himself advocated for the murder of a politician or of anyone who disagrees with him politically. The only class of individuals exempted from the challenge are terrorists, because Levin believes both himself and Palin are fully entitled to call for their death.

While the challenge appears limited to Matthews, Levin makes a threat that applies universally to all MSNBC hosts, and even to David Frum (or that “little weasel,” as Levin refers to him), that if they accuse him of inciting murder in Arizona in any way, then he won’t hesitate to sue them and “drag [their] ass into

federal court.” With Palin, Limbaugh and Beck the most frequent names mentioned on MSNBC as proponents of “violent rhetoric,” Levin likely won’t be needing a court visit anytime soon, however, it’s still an intriguing idea to not only generate publicity but to legitimately make one think twice before accusing Levin of anything in the future.
