MSNBC legal analyst Andrew Weissmann declared he has a “man crush” on Judge Juan Merchan, the judge overseeing Trump’s Manhattan hush money trial.

“I have, like, a man crush on him. He is such a great judge that it’s hard to see that the jurors wouldn’t have the same impression,” Weissmann told MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell.

If you looked Merchan up in a dictionary, Weissmann added, you’d find the definition of “judicial temperament.”

Weissmann called Merchan the height of “judicial temperament.”

“If you looked in a dictionary for judicial temperament, that’s what you’d get,” he said.

Closing arguments in Trump’s trial occurred on Tuesday. Awaiting the verdict, the former president claimed he doesn’t even understand if a crime was committed.

“KANGAROO COURT! A CORRUPT AND CONFLICTED JUDGE. RELIANCE ON COUNSEL (ADVISE OF COUNSEL) NOT ALLOWED BY MERCHAN, A FIRST. HIS RULINGS, ON A CASE THAT SHOULD, ACCORDING TO ALL LEGAL SCHOLARS AND EXPERTS, NEVER HAVE BEEN BROUGHT, HAVE MADE THIS A BIDEN PUSHED WITCH HUNT. THERE WAS NO CRIME, EXCEPT FOR THE BUM THAT GOT CAUGHT STEALING FROM ME! IN GOD WE TRUST!,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
