Former President Donald Trump was not impressed by former Rep. Liz Cheney endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris for president.
Cheney, a fiercely conservative Republican, appeared with Harris at a rally in Wisconsin on Thursday, where the former congresswoman re-upped her attacks on Trump. “Well, Liz Cheney lost for Congress – she was terrible,” Trump said, referring to her 2022 GOP primary loss to a candidate he endorsed. “Liz Cheney is a stupid war hawk. All she wants to do is shoot missiles at people… I
Trump ran in 2016 partly on rebuking George W. Bush’s 2003 invasion of Iraq, which he called “a big, fat mistake” during a debate as he stood near Bush’s brother Jeb Bush.
Cheney’s father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, is also voting for Harris.
