The Late Show host Stephen Colbert tore into President Donald Trump on Monday night after the president shared an “insane” but “accurate” AI-generated video depicting the commander in chief dumping feces on Americans from a fighter jet.
The 19-second clip, shared on Truth Social late Saturday, shows “King Trump” emblazoned on an aircraft manned by the president.
Trump, wearing a crown, drops feces on protesters, including one resembling left-wing influencer Harry Sisson, taking part in the nationwide “No Kings” demonstrations in what looks like Times Square.
The host began: “One person who did not like the message of ‘No Kings’ was Donald Trump. He was subtle in his criticism.”
“To prove that he’s not a monarch, on Saturday night, he posted this AI video of himself wearing a crown, flying a jet, and strafing New York City with feces,” Colbert jabbed, to jeers from the audience.
After rolling back the clip, the comedian jumped on the punchline: “There it is: King Trump crapping on America. Which is insane, though I will grant, factually accurate.”
Noting the looseness of Trump’s stool, Colbert offered some advice to the president: “Eat a vegetable, baby. Throw in a handful of flax seeds in your milkshake. You got a real problem.”
He didn’t stop there. “Only an absolute idiot and a moral reprobate would defend it,” Colbert said — before adding, “So naturally, that’s exactly what House Speaker Mike Johnson did.”
