Lemon asked Omarosa about Trump’s retweet of the nasty insult on Cruz’s looks. Omarosa started to say “I don’t think we should start there” and tried to go back to the Super PAC that ran the ad featuring a nude photo of Melania Trump. Lemon interjected and said, “I’m not gonna let you do that. Omarosa, stop!”
After she kept talking, Lemon lost patience and said, “Cut the mic, everybody. We’re not doing that. I want everyone on this panel to answer the question directly.” Omarosa objected, and Lemon immediately cut to commercial literally a minute into the segment.
Lemon eventually returned from commercial and again asked Omarosa about Trump’s nasty retweet. Omarosa immediately played the Brussels card and complained that they should be talking about terrorism and not Twitter
Lemon correctly pointed out, “We wouldn’t be talking about it if your candidate had not put it out there.”
Omarosa claimed no one covered Trump’s comments on Brussels––a laughable absurdity––before telling Lemon that Trump owes no apologies “for defending his wife” (leaving out the whole “insulting another man’s wife” part).
Kellyanne Conway, who runs a pro-Cruz Super PAC, clashed with Omarosa over Trump’s serious problems with women. Lemon once again tried to get Omarosa to understand how awful the retweet was, but she continued to brush it aside.
