President-elect Donald Trump fired inside the Republican tent on Wednesday night, blasting several members of the GOP – including several he hired in his first term.

As President Joe Biden delivered his farewell address, Trump went on Truth Social to reiterate that his administration will be free of Republicans who have demonstrated – in his mind – disloyalty.

Trump re-upped his attacks against his former U.N. ambassador, Nikki Haley, who challenged him for the 2024 Republican nomination before endorsing him last year. The president-elect also stated there is no place in his administration for former Vice President Mike Pence, who rebuffed Trump’s attempts to get him to refuse to certify the results of the 2020 election.

Trump also lashed out at his former National Security Advisor John Bolton and former Sen. Mitt Romney, writing:

As of today, the incoming Trump Administration has hired over 1,000 people for The United States Government. They are outstanding in every way, and you will see the fruits of their labor over the coming years. We will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and

it will happen very quickly! In order to save time, money, and effort, it would be helpful if you would not send, or recommend to us, people who worked with, or are endorsed by, Americans for No Prosperity (headed by Charles Koch), “Dumb as a Rock” John Bolton, “Birdbrain” Nikki Haley, Mike Pence, disloyal Warmongers Dick Cheney, and his Psycho daughter, Liz, Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan, General(?) Mark Milley, James Mattis, Mark Yesper [sic], or any of the other people suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome, more commonly known as TDS. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Since capturing the Republican Party, Trump has been largely successful in purging it of conservatives who oppose him. That includes the aforementioned former Rep. Liz Cheney, who was turfed out in a primary by a Trump-backed challenger.
