carli says: Carrie is one of the scariest movies I’ve seen. it’s got the famous “hand” shot at the end that makes me jump every time I see it. And the build up to Carrie’s “incident” at the prom is so suspenseful and uncomfortable, I get chills just thinking about it. And as an outcast growing up, there was always that fear that someone was going to dump a bucket of pig’s blood on me.
Rachel Sklar says: I remember my brother coming home from seeing Carrie absolutely traumatized. Now that I see it was released in 76, I’m wondering how on earth he saw it in the first place, when he would have been 9. Hm.
