Pete Cashmore Got Iced At The Webbys (PHOTOS)

Look – all I’m saying is, when a bro gets iced, it makes news. If that bro is Pete Cashmore, the founder and CEO of web-news behemoth Mashable and not-unattractive person, well, the Internet demands that such news be shared (probably for Mashable to pick up and then get twenty times the traffic on, but whatever).

The bros who iced him: Foursquare co-founder Naveen Selvadurai and Foursquare developer Mike Singleton, who prowled the upper level of the Webby’s post-party at Hiro Ballroom carrying a plastic bag filled with bottles of Smirnoff Ice, stalking their prey with cold purpose and forcing them to drink the fizzy, sugary liquid under pain of public humiliation (which is really the result either way).

Anyhow, here is Cashmore, submitting to the will of the people and drinking his Smirnoff Ice as penance for being in the wrong place at the wrong time:
