Watch: Amazing Race Contestant Has Watermelon Explode Against Her Face

The Amazing Race doesn’t premiere until September 26th, but if this preview clip is at all indicative of this season, consider it season-pass’d. What other show can boast having footage of a contestant getting a watermelon slingshotted at her face?

Some obligatory background before the Gallagher moment: two contestants, Brooke & Claire, are are told to fire large watermelons at medieval knights using a giant slingshot. Once you know that, the rest of the event is kind of inevitable.

(If you were worried, don’t be: she’s totally fine. The clip shows that the emergency renaissance fair jugglers were there within seconds.)

Anyone who would appear on a show like that where “anything goes” either, is in desperate need of money, or a masochist. I cannot believe that she stayed in the show after that watermelon shook up her brain (which was necessary since she is an IDIOT) What is wrong with our young people, they go on shows like “Fear Factor” and eat all sorts of horrible things..these shows make their money on the stupidity and the desperation of people, who should know better. Put something on TV besides, torture, sex, beauty products, plastic surgeries, dresses that cram your fat body into a rubber dress (poor guy) & now they also have this product for MEN, what men…..??What is this world coming to? Women who were truly beautiful did not need WIGS, BIG BOOBS, NOSE JOBS,BUTT JOBS, SKIN BLEACHING, RINGS IN NOSES<TATTOOS, etc. etc. Oh, this includes men. Beauty comes from within…and brains. Maybe it's the times, but I still.."Miss those dear hearts & gentle people, who lived in my home town…Jim Reeves…those were the days my friend, we thought they'd never end….God Bless America!
