Glenn Beck Opens His Last Show With A Walk Down Memory Lane

video

“This is the last episode of The Glenn Beck Program and we’ve really done some amazing things together.”

Thus Glenn Beck began the first part of his final episode on Fox News. Like the rest of the episode, the opening was a nostalgic celebration of the show. He played a video featuring a montage of bloopers, highlights, and messages from fans on the street.

With the music it was set to, it all kind of felt like the video you’d play on the last day of summer camp (“Remember that time Glenn won Capture the Flag? Aw, I’ll remember you guys forever!”).

After the video ended, Beck took viewers on a tour back stage to see the collection of props and magnets the show has amassed over the years. Die hard fans can be forgiven for getting a bit choked up getting reminded of some of their favorite moments (our favorites too). Non-fans will probably laugh at the earnestness of it all.

Everyone though will be able to agree on one thing however; this dude buys a lot of chalk.

A lot classier than the way the ex-sportscaster threw another hissy-fit when he left his station!

But not MSNBC. Oh wait, that’s the good Obama-loving station. And replacing Olbermann with “Socialist” O’Donnell is actually making it worse.

I, for one, will enjoy watching Beck slide into obscurity, then off the map completely.

    Jab?
With as many writers as Stewart has, I’m wondering if he ever has an independent thought of his own!

Is that what Olbermann’s Current TV name is now?

Funny how fox seems to be spending more energy attacking Stewart than they are smearing Obama lately. And yet Stewart still creams the entire network.

    Hey, D-BAG! Check THIS out:

Once the Constitution of the United States was in place, the Federal Government in 1787 passed the Northwest Ordinance outlawing the institution of slavery where many of the new states would be formed. The Founding Fathers passed this law and it was to this law that Abraham Lincoln referred throughout his Presidency.

There’s a thing I’ve noticed in all the various posts and threads designed to elicit comments such as yours.

Very few of your side’s critiques on conservative personalities are anywhere near their target; many of ours are on point, and relevant to the topic under discussion.

  • Perdido

For the left, it’s not sufficient to simply not watch someone they don’t like.
