WI State Senator On Recall Effort: ‘This Is About The Presidential Election In 2012′

video

Wisconsin State Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says the evolving fight in Madison is “about the 2012 election.”

In an interview with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly, Fitzgerald said efforts to recall senators were designed to impact the 2012 elections–even suggesting the recall of Republican senators was being orchestrated by the White House. “This is not some grassroots effort…there’s definitely more to this.”

Under tough questioning from Kelly, who asked Fitzgerald for any proof of a connection between the Obama White House and the recall effort in Wisconsin, Fitzgerald insisted what’s happening in his state is all about who wins Wisconsin in 2012:

Well if they flip the state senate, which is obviously their goal with eight recalls going on right now, they can take control of the labor unions. If we win this battle, and the money is not there under the auspices of the unions, certainly what you’re going to find is President Obama is going to have a much difficult, much more difficult time getting elected and winning the state of Wisconsin.

    “asked Fitzgerald for any proof”

And as expected, he has none.

Boy that Obama sure gets around.

“Taking Back Our Country” involves more than removing the self-serving Ruling Class Establishment politicians. It’s also about curtailing, controlling, reducing and – to the maximum extent possible – eliminating taxpayer leeches known as public sector union members and bureauweenies from further destroying our country and the American way of life with their one goal of enriching themselves at the expense of everyone else.

This is an all-out battle for America. Every available, responsible American should go to Wisconsin to rally against the lunatic-left and their union masters who are trying – and to a great extend succeeding – in bankrupting cities, states and the nation for their own self-serving greed.

NB: AVERAGE TEACHER IN MILWAUKEE HAS A TOTAL COMPENSATION THAT EXCEEDS $100,000, including their gold-plated benefits and an obscenely humongous pension !!!!!!
The MAJORITY of Wisconsin taxpayers can only dream of having such luxurious incomes and benefits.

FOLLOW THE MONEY: The lunatic-left d-crat socialists have HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS in campaign contributions on the line in the Wisconsin battle – of course they will do everything possible (including criminal actions) to keep the money flowing from taxpayers- to -public-sector union members- to -public-sector unions- to -d-crat socialists’ campaigns. This is the corrupt money trail that MUST BE STOPPED if America is to remain a real democracy.

Here’s a breakdown of what some of the top unions donated to the Democratic Party in the 2008 and 2010 election cycles:

    * The AFL-CIO, whose president Richard Trumka is orchestrating much of the protests in Madison this week, donated $1.2 million to Democrats in 2008 and $900,000 in 2010.

    * The American Federation of State, County and Municipal employees donated $2.6 million to the Democrats in 2008 and another $2.6 million in 2010.

    * The National Education Association donated $2.3 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.2 million in 2010.

    * The Teamsters union donated $2.4 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.3 million in 2010.

    * The SEIU donated $2.6 million to Democrats in 2008 and $1.7 million in 2010.

    * The Carpenters and Joiners union donated $2 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.1 million 2010.

    * The Laborers union donated $2.6 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.2 million in 2010.

    * The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers donated $3.8 million to Democrats in 2008 and $3.2 million in 2010.

    * The American Federation of Teachers donated $2.8 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.7 million in 2010.

    * The Machinists and Aerospace union donated $2.5 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.1 million in 2010.

    * The Communication Workers of America, which includes employees from several television and radio stations and other publishing platforms, donated $2.2 million to Democrats in 2008 and $2.1 million in 2010.

    * The United Autoworkers union (UAW) donated $2.1 million to Democrats in 2008 and $1.5 million in 2010.

    * The United Food and Commercial Workers union (UFCW) donated $2.1 million to Democrats in 2008 and $1.9 million in 2010.

Most unions gave a negligible amount, if anything at all, to the Republican Party over the past two elections.

Although staggeringly large, these cash contributions represent ONLY A PORTION of the contributions that the unions make to elect lunatic-left d-crat socialists. The unions also fund the creation and broadcast of their own TV and radio ads in support of the d-crat socialists, they provide massive amounts of labor to help staff the d-crat socialist campaigns, they fund the creation and all costs associated with mass mailings in support of the d-crat socialists, and they fund and supply transportation and other help to the d-crat socialists during the voting process. It is a truly insidious and incestuous relationship that is very harmful and destructive to “free and open” elections that are supposed to be the cornerstone of American democracy.

As a liberal, this is news to me. Although I can see the Wisonconsin incident being really bad news for other Republicans running, now every state has to worry if their unions will lose their bargaining rights if they take the risky chance of electing a Republican… talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

There ‘s an anti public union fever sweeping America ( and America could use a good sweeping ) . This could take a huge amount of the union dues away from King Obama . To him , union dues are HIS money . It’s already happening .

The US would look like Russia or China now without liberals and there would probably still be slavery, no art, no television, book burnings, religious public schools, stoning of abortionists, beatings of women that are raped, people saying god planned rapes so abortion isn’t necessary, endangered animals killed for sport, children allowed to carry concealed weapons, no EPA to protect us, no paved roads, … no America.

Sounds like a great country… except that’s not America, that’s a crazy fantasy for nihilists (The Tea Party).

Take the liberal out of America and you essentially would get Sharia Law.

This morning, Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald said in a radio interview that President Obama’s political team is directly involved in burgeoning efforts to recall Republican elected officials (emphasis on the word “elected,” as in chosen by the people of Wisconsin in a democratic vote four months ago):

“There’s many people that are beginning to believe this is a delay tactic by the Democrats in the Senate so that these recall elections can be organized by the Obama team out of Chicago, which they are, as we start to do the research on the people that have filed the petition,” Fitzgerald told Newsradio 620 WTMJ’s “Wisconsin’s Morning News.”

When asked whether Fitzgerald knew that for a fact, he responded, “The organizer against (River Hills Republican Senator) Alberta Darling definitely has direct links to the Obama camp. There’s no doubt about it. These guys might be out until June. Unfortunately, what they’re trying to do is flip the majority, and I think that’s becoming very evident.”

Unions represent thousands of voters. The Koch Bros. are two people. What is free and fair about two libertarian whackos buying the Gov. of Wisconsin?

Try this poll that you won’t like. Let me see, is Reuters republican poll?

A Reuters/Ipsos poll showed on Wednesday the proportion of people who believe the United States is on the wrong track rose seven points to 64 percent from February, in a fresh challenge to President Barack Obama.
It was the highest number of people in an Ipsos poll who think the country on the wrong track since Obama took office in January 2009. The survey comes as many indicators show an improving U.S. economy.

gordie~ what does that have to do with Wisconsin and voters within that state beginning a process to recall some WI state senators? the favorables for Walker and WI Republicans are not looking too good.

we get it. you don’t like obama. bfd. but can you attempt, when commenting on a thread, to deal with the topic at had. the only polls you believe will be from some RWer site. then, like FNC does, you’ll flip the results to fit into YOUR narrative vs. reality.

Good to know you admit to being professional liar. Those items you sold were made by people. If they built crap–you sold crap. Your back was covered by the people who produced the goods you sold. If you sold too much crap for too long, you would have gone out of business.
Your job was to convince a customer they needed the widget/car/house that was built by someone else.I’m sure you got cars and other support from your bosses to help you appear successful and make people want your product.
Quit trying to sell yourself your own line of crap. Without others, you’d have nothing to sell.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!!! Megyn Kelly is ripping apart a Republican for not being able to back up his claim. What network did her show move to???? It can’t be FOX… NO….Fox only agrees with Republicans. Uhhhhh, either my eyes and ears deceive me or the libtard accusers of this claim are wrong. Hmmmm… Preponderance of evidence – let me think, let me think……

Unions represent unions. They are no better than the Corporations libs rage about. Union officials only care about the power they hold via the union dues they flood into Democratic coffers. Which keeps the Dems cowtowing the union line so they can get reelected. What’s wrong with union dues being voluntary? If the union is truely helping the employee, then the employee should be more than willing to pay the dues, right?

Of course, that is what they say.

Brilliant observation. People represent people. Unions are people. They freely elect representatives. We call it democracy. You don’t but your seat with your daddie’s money. If the union negotiates raises for all, all should pay for it. Unless, you are one of those free-loading leeches that takes but won’t give. Sort of like a welfare queen.

Obimbo and his Politburo is at it again. Sticking his nose in State business that he has no business in. Arizona and the other border States are still being overrun by illegal alien trespassers, an economy still in the toilet, and in some area’s, unemployment in the double digits, yet this scab-president chooses to involve himself in the politics of a sovereign State. WHAT! Have they run out of concerts at the White-House? We’ve got to keep this clown busy or he starts thinking, and then doing, and then we have to pay the price.

  • Tedderman

You do know that a “scab” is someone who crosses a picket line to work in place of a striking union worker don’t you? And Politburo, just how old are you?

Why isn’t there a move to recall the Democrat deserters?

  • Rockycomet

They are not deserters they are politicians exercising a strategy the system left an opening for just like the GOP used the system to do an end around the quorum requirement to get their bill past. Apparently the GOP found it necessary to use that strategy in Texas in 1993 over a redistricting issue when they walk out to aviod the quorum. Justification is only aceptable when your specific view or need is in question.

Pay freeze without price freeze is attack on the poor and needy. Look what it did to Egypt and Libya. After attacking wages of main street these same Wisconsin Political figures could gain clout and respect if they are honest enough to attack the earnings and benefits of Political Management and then the earnings of; or should I say the Loot of Wall Street gamblers that are truly bringing down our country, otherwise they will look like a bunch of gangsters themselves doing their greedy deeds. We must remember when Osama bin Laden went to college in American, he immediately went back home and planed an attack on Wall Street not just
American as some think, it was directed at WALL STREET when he did the basement before he went for the top of those towers. Wall Street is like some bad kids in our family and they need butt kicked big time, otherwise picking on the working class amounts to additional gangster-ism.
