Laura Loomer Reminded She Accused ‘Charlatan’ Charlie Kirk of Stabbing Trump in the Back Days Before Shooting As She Targets ‘Leftist Lunatics’

Far-right activist Laura Loomer was reminded of recent posts highly critical of “charlatan” Charlie Kirk as she called for President Donald Trump to shut down “lunatic leftists” following Kirk’s shooting death in Utah.

“It’s time for the Trump administration to shut down, defund, & prosecute every single Leftist organization. If Charlie Kirk dies from his injuries, his life cannot be in vain,” Loomer wrote on X on Wednesday while Kirk’s condition was still unclear. “We must shut these lunatic leftists down. Once and for all. The Left is a national security threat.”

Some users were quick to respond to the post by sharing a screenshot of a Loomer post just days before Kirk’s death in which she accused him of betraying the president. She slammed Kirk as a “political opportunist.”

Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, was shot during an event on Wednesday at a Utah college campus.

“I don’t ever want to hear [Charlie Kirk] claim he is pro-Trump ever again. After this weekend, I’d say he has revealed himself as political opportunist and I have had a front row seat to witness the mental gymnastics these last 10 years,” Loomer wrote in her past post about Kirk. “Lately, Charlie has decided to behave like a charlatan, claiming to be pro-Trump one day while he stabs Trump in the back the next. TPUSA was only able to thrive thanks to the generosity of President Trump.”

The original post from July was much longer and took issue with Kirk hosting comedian Dave Smith at a conference after Smith called for Trump to be impeached and for MAGA supporters to turn on him.

“Out of all of the incredible pro-Trump voices out there who support the President, Charlie decided to host Dave Smith?” Loomer wrote. “It really is shameful. And I am honestly just disgusted by the nonstop flip flopping on the right.”
