Barstool Sports Drops Brutal Clip of Skip Bayless’s Worst Hot Takes: ‘I Have No Regrets!’

Skip Bayless revealed on a recent Barstool Sports podcast that he has no regrets for even his worst takes that have aged horribly.

Bayless appeared on Friday’s episode of Pardon My Take. While talking about his career in the media — as well as his recent departure from Fox Sports — Bayless was asked by Dan “Big Cat” Katz is there was any hot take he wishes he hadn’t said. The 72-year-old, who’s still a believer in former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, couldn’t think of one.

“I would tell you the truth,” Bayless said. “I’m telling you from my sou, I have no regrets. If you have one you want to throw at me–”

Katz had more than a few.

First, there was the time Bayless predicted that former NBA star Derek Fisher would be a better head coach than Steve Kerr — who’s since won four championships with the Golden State Warriors.

“OK, I love Derek Fisher and I still believe in him,” Bayless responded. “OK, what year was that? Help me out.

“I still believe in Derek Fisher. Right place, right time. I just do!”

Then, there was Bayless’s prediction that star Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o would be the next Ray Lewis. Te’o — who was infamously caught in a catfishing scandal while in college — played in just 62 career NFL games.

“I didn’t know about the ‘fishing’ incident that was about to transpire,” Bayless explained.

There was also the time Bayless claimed he preferred Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Josh Freeman over Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers.

“Loved Josh Freeman at Kansas State,” Bayless said. “You know, they went 10-6 at Tampa his season [season]… He had some substance abuse issues; but I can’t know that!”

Katz was in awe.

“This is watching Picasso paint,” he joked.
