Rep. Martha McSally (R-AZ) — who is running to replace Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) in the Senate — stopped by Tucker Carlson Tonight and she didn’t mince words in regards to what she thinks of the Democrats currently in congress.
The congresswoman was asked by Tucker how she feels about the democrats saying “provide amnesty or we’re going to stop paying for our troops.”
“It’s infuriating Tucker, this is the point that I brought up in the White House meeting last week and I was moved when I heard [Sen.] Dick Durbin (D-IL) say there’s lives hanging in the balance, or something like that,” she said. “I was like moved to jump in and say the only lives that are hanging in the balance are those of our military, the men and woman that are serving overseas, putting their lives in harm’s way.”
“While our troops are over there risking their lives for us, these guys are dicking around,” she said in a obvious reference to the democrats.
After making her dislike for the democrats in congress known, McSally reviewed the bill that she is backing. The bill includes addressing sanctuary cities, ending chain migration, along with other immigration issues.
She finished by acknowledging those within her own party. McSally agreed with Tucker that she must get republicans like Lindsey Graham on her side in order to pass a bill.
