New reports on Las Vegas shooter Stephen Paddock offer stunning details on the scope of the assailant’s weapons collection, and the number of guns he used in his attack which killed at least 58 people and injured more than 500.

According to Fox News’s William La Jeunesse reporting through a source, Paddock more than 30 weapons. Further, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that authorities found 18-20 weapons in the 32nd floor hotel room at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino from which Paddock carried out his attack — including “AR-15-style and AK-47-style rifles as well as a large cache of ammunition.”

The Washington Post reports that Paddock worked for a predecessor company of defense conglomerate Lockheed Martin from 1985-1988. The story also notes that Paddock was a high-stakes professional gambler, but the assailant’s brother, Eric Paddock, did not know of any gambling debts.
