MSNBC Now Using Andrea Mitchell’s ‘Unruly’ Moment in Network’s ‘This is Who We Are’ Campaign
Yesterday, a tweet sent from Fox News host Bill O’Reilly‘s account caused a bit of an uproar as it described NBC News host Andrea Mitchell’s attempts to get Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to answer questions during a photo-op as “unruly.” (A Fox spokesperson would later tell Mediaite that someone from O’Reilly’s website sent the tweet and neither O’Reilly or anyone from the network were involved.)

Shortly after that tweet was sent, Mitchell had some fun with it by signing off of her MSNBC broadcast by saying “that does it for this unruly edition Andrea Mitchell Reports.”
Well, it didn’t take long for MSNBC to use Mitchell’s “unruly” moment in their ‘This is Who We Are’ campaign. Starting today, the network is running a 30-second promo centered on Mitchell’s confrontation with White House staff while pressing Tillerson.
