Remember Rob Ford? Yeah, you do. What you might not have heard about is the colossal trainwreck of a TV show that he co-hosted with his brother Doug for precisely one day before it got cancelled. Well, that show is being resurrected for the web, and if the deputy mayor of Toronto is to be believed, it will be Canada’s version of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
The Fords’ TV show was plugged after only one episode, and in the midst of the scandal that introduced us to Ford in the first place, they lost their radio show. So this time, they are circumventing the mainstream media and appealing directly to the people with their talk show.
“We’ll talk about some issues around the world because it’s going to be a world-wide audience,” Doug Ford told the Star Friday. “We’ll have the Ford lovers and haters around the world viewing it…”
Ford said YouTube will allow him and his scandal-plagued brother to get their message out as Mayor Ford prepares to run for re-election next year.
This just gets better and better. And if you want to know just what to expect, here’s just one segment from the TV debut/finale, via Sun News:
