Paul will not be speaking at the convention, but according to BuzzFeed, the Romney campaign will be showcasing a tribute to the congressman on Tuesday, during a night headlined as “We Built This!” Romney campaign strategist Russ Schrieffer said that Paul’s people approached them about doing a “short tribute to him,” and they said they were “absolutely” interested. An advisor to Paul would not provide any details, just saying he “was told it was confidential.”

Paul’s son, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, will be speaking at the convention on Monday night.
