Sarah Sanders Fires Back at Report She’s Seeking Exit From White House: ‘I Love my Job’
White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders pushed back forcefully on a report that she’s seeking an exit from the Trump administration on Wednesday night, saying in a tweet that she “loves” her job.
CBS News reported Wednesday that Sanders, along with deputy press secretary Raj Shah, were “both heading for the exits, according to sources inside the White House and close to the administration.”
“Sanders, who has become a confidante of President Trump since the departure of former communications director Hope Hicks, has told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year,” CBS News added.
Sanders responded shortly after in a tweet, claiming she was at her “daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event” when CBS News “ran a story about [her] ‘plans to leave the WH’ without even talking to” her.
CBS News wrote that neither “Sanders nor Shah immediately responded to repeated requests for comment.”
“I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS,” Sanders added in her tweet.
Does @CBSNews know something I don’t about my plans and my future? I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my “plans to leave the WH” without even talking to me. I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS

Not to be picky… but that’s not an explicit denial of the report.
