Nearly six months after he allegedly climbed the fence of the White House and jumped onto the lawn outside President Barack Obama’s home, Curtis Smith of Coatesville, Pennsylvania was reportedly shot and killed by a sheriff’s deputy during a court hearing at at the Chester County Justice Center Tuesday morning.
According to multiple reports, Smith, who was facing burglary, assault and harassment charges, entered the courthouse, pulled out a knife and slashed one deputy sheriff in the arm and hand before he was shot and killed by another.
Smith was arrested in connection with the White House incident back in March of this year, but ultimately reached a deal and was not sentenced for that crime.
