Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary excitedly backed President Joe Biden’s proposal for two debates with Donald Trump, calling it a needed “break” in the “porn star wars.”

O’Leary joined Fox & Friends co-host Steve Doocy on Wednesday in a segment primarily focused on inflation troubles, but things turned to the election following Biden’s early Wednesday announcement that he wants to set up June and September debates with Trump, which the former president appears to have agreed to.

“I love it,” O’Leary said about Biden’s proposal.

The entrepreneur argued voters had been too distracted by Trump’s legal cases, including his Manhattan hush money trial in which he’s accused of falsifying business records to conceal hush money payments made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels. He’s denied any wrongdoing.

“I think the country is begging for policy. We’ve been talking about the trials in New York, the real estate wars, and now the porn star wars; I get it, I understand all that, but if you’re a New Yorker right now, you’re probably asking yourself, ‘is this the best way to spend our money?'” O’Leary said. “When everybody wants to understand going into an election, what’s your policy on border security, what’s your policy on interest rates, what’s your

policy on foreign affairs.”

It’s time to “skip” the “porn star wars,” he continued.

“All of these issues are left open, and inflation I want to hear more about. I’ve got to have this information to make a decision as a voter. I don’t have it. So let’s stop the porn star wars. Let’s take a break. Let’s get policy. Debates, I welcome them,” O’Leary said. “Bring it on, bring it on, bring it on.”

Trump fired back at Biden’s debate proposal on Wednesday, calling the president the “worst debater” he’s ever faced and recommending more than just two face-offs.
